An Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is valid from 1 July to 30 June each year. All Registered Social Workers are required to maintain a current APC. More
The Board has revised the requirements for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for registered social workers. The Board now requires that every registered social worker engages in a minimum of 20 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) per year and that this CPD is planned annually with the social worker's manager or professional supervisor. The Board will be providing all registered social workers with further information in the next On Board newsletter at the end of February.

The SWRB will be running a series of Registration workshops during 2012. These workshops are open to all social workers who wish to become registered.
